Urgent electrical faults
Make the situation safe and call.
If there is smoke, fire or immediate danger, leave the area and call the emergency services. Do not touch damaged electrical equipment or exposed wiring. If it is safe to do so, stop using the affected equipment and call Voltixx with the property address and a clear description of what happened.
No power
Unexpected full or partial loss of power where the cause is not clear.
Tripping electrics
RCDs, RCBOs or circuit breakers that trip repeatedly and will not remain on.
Burning smell
Heat, smoke, buzzing or discolouration around sockets, switches or equipment.
Damaged fittings
Broken sockets, switches, cables or accessories that may present a safety risk.
What happens next
The electrician will gather initial information, confirm availability and assess the installation. The first priority is safety and diagnosis; any repair or additional work is explained based on what is found.
